The Old Vicarage is a large Victorian detached house set in the heart of the quiet suburb of Wolverhampton. It's position in the centre of a community has made it ideally suited for the 5 Learning Disabilities residents, for which it is in the process of being registered.
The Old Vicarage is undergoing the registration process with CSCI to provide a long term specialist care home for adults that deal with a variety of complex needs and requirements. In particular it is intended for residents with Autism needs within the Learning Disability spectrum.
The building is set on three floors. It is a good example of a home in the community with good access to many facilities via a main bus route. There are also local services within easy walking distance with a bowls green and tennis courts next door. The main Wolverhampton city centre is within a mile of the home with all the entertainment, shopping and educational facilities at the residents' disposal.
Whilst the surrounding area is well populated, the private grounds and aspect make it additionally suitable for those requiring peaceful surroundings. The house has a large enclosed garden at the rear, which contains adequate green space for use in all weather.
