The New Barn provides and regularly reviews the highest level of training for staff to provide the most up to date and best quality information on the provision of care for people with learning disabilities. The New Barn has in place, quality monitoring systems to maintain best practice at all times, with various staff specialising in aspects linked to Challenging Behaviour, both mild and profound. As each individual’s needs are assessed, any situation arising is incorporated into the training framework and information relating to the needs are added both to the care plans and the already extensive resource file for regular review and update.
