Accommodation at Elmhurst is of the highest standard. Residents can be provided with en-suite facilities in single or twin rooms. Shared accommodation is also available. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a nurse call system, telephone points and a television set.

All residents meals are prepared by our qualified cooks, and special diets and requests can easily be catered for.

Elmhurst has it's own residents committee that organises trips out and special in-house entertainment. Our fully equipped disabled-friendly bus ensures trips out are a regular part of life.

Elmhurst's greatest asset are the staff who give dedicated care 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We carefully select all our staff for their caring and compassionate nature. This nursing team, including qualified nurses and care assistants, practice under the supervision of Mrs. Jayne Platt.

Elmhurst's fees include Physiotherapy, Activity diversion, Chiropody, Hairdressing, Daily Newspapers and full entertainment programmes. We also have a visiting dentist and optician, while our local GP practice gives Elmhurst residents 100% medical support.
