There are four churches in Prees, local newsagents and shops. There is also a bus that will take residents out and charge only for the mileage. The local Doctors and Pharmacy is based in the village and village hall that has a lot of entertainment on. 

The local Rotary club takes the residents out twice a year. The local Wem Baptist church comes in 4 times a year to sing to the residents.  We also have St Chad's who come in at Christmas to sing carols, the local Brownies come in to the home to sing and talk to the residents at Christmas times.
